For most part clean Amazon loads should have 85-90% good items. Keep in mind there are tons of middlemen who know the contract holder and try to peddle those same loads with bigger mark up. A good source will mark up a % and will ship the truck directly from Amazon. To get good loads have to buy directly from source who holds direct contracts with Amazon or whatever big box store.

By trial and error did find some good sellers. All high value stuff damaged, literally nothing but garbage outside of some bs $15 items that will be lucky to make $5 after shipping. Did some buys where was struggling to find anything of value out of 6-8 pallets. In February this year I finally got a warehouse. Thats why most people who buy amazon returns get burned and think its just mostly broken and worthless stuff. Lot of those resellers cherry pick the loads and resell left over garbage in pallets for ridiculous amounts because people are willing to pay it. Those guys broker their truckloads to middlemen. They have contracts with people who have 100k+ sq ft warehouses taking dozens trucks a week. Places like Amazon don't sell just to anybody directly.

What I noticed on a lot of auction sites what used to be clean loads became total garbage. Inventory that was tough to move in bulk all the sudden was in demand. Thanks to youtube reseller videos and social media hordes of new sellers entered the space which started driving up prices. Big box stores and online sites were just trying to get rid of stuff for whatever price. Electronics and more desirable loads would get bid up a bit more. General merchandise stuff would go as little as 1-2%. What happened is years ago there weren't that many resellers and stuff was going at real liquidated prices. LLC I set up kept dormant for most part, just bought some smaller stuff to season my ebay and amazon accounts.

Not sure if people were high or stupid thinking oh says 60k MSRP so if I pay 25 I'll double the money. People were bidding up Walmart return loads to 40%. At the time was kind of shocked seasoned resellers were complaining how liquidation prices were getting way too high.įast forward few years I was back on my feet and decided to use saved up money to get a warehouse and buy truckloads to get better price/margins.

80-90% of the items were either new or like new open box condition. New ableton apc40 controller, some other midi controller for $200, about 10 dj mixers among all kinds of other random stuff. To my surprise I found a couple brand new DJI Mavic drones that I sold for $1200 a piece within couple days. Won an auction for $800 +$80 auction fee + 350 to ship. My first pallet was Amazon electronics with about 11k MSRP. Did some thrift store stuff and started buying pallets. I had some financial troubles around 2018 and needed some income. In recent years whole resale space got blown up via social media and made it really tough.
